Southeast Dinghy Championship

Friday, September 25th 2026 - Sunday, September 27th 2026

In 1971 the Key Biscayne Yacht Club hosted its first Annual Southeast Dinghy Championship. The Southeast Dinghy Championship is the successor regatta to the first National Pram Championship, co-hosted with the City of Miami at Marine Stadium. The event has hosted over 4,000 sailors and their families from across the nation and further afield. Sailors ranging from 7 to 18 years of age (and some adults) compete in Club 420s, ILCAs and Optimist Dinghies. Racing is held on the beautiful Biscayne Bay where the racing conditions are optimal and the weather sublime which makes for an excellent spectator event too.
